Earthquake Readiness and Mitigation

The City of Vancouver, WA City (right across the river) recently had a panel discussion about earthquakes, how to prepare for them and how to mitigate the risk of death and destruction. Panelists included James Roddey (aka, Mr. Doom-and-Gloom from Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries), Cheryl Bledsoe (emergency manager for Clark County, WA), Jay Wilson (mitigation officer for Clackamas County, OR) and more.
